WHY NOW?

A letter to you dear reader. I’m not really here trying to sell you on something. I truly believe in us being guided where we’re meant to be. Take vintage shopping for example. You ever wonder why sometimes you find the coolest things, we like to think it’s luck. But I have a feeling that it’s intention. You and the universe communicating. You’ve been sending signals out into the ether. Perhaps that you’re chilly under your leather jacket in the evenings and that you miss your grandma, and that blue table you saw at lunch 2 weeks ago left an impression. And then whaddayaknow, theres a perfect mohair sweater waiting for you at this shop that you’ve never seen before. As if placed there, specifically for you. It fits like a glove and makes you feel like Princess Diana. So, why now? Why this? This object was created from a feeling of power. Quiet, deep, self propelling, wind befriending power. This is a piece of clothing meant to be worn on those days when you feel precious, yet powerful. When you need a silk bodyguard trailing behind. When the wind is your biggest cheerleader. And when you know - you are HER.
